Danielle Dong, ScM, CGC, is the scientific advocacy lead in global medical affairs, rare disease at Sanofi with a focus on real-world evidence in rare disease. She leads patient initiatives across the lysosomal storage disease registries and previously worked in local and global operations. She also worked at the University of Virginia in the Department of Pediatrics, Medical Genetics Division providing genetic counseling to patients and families. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received her Master of Science in genetic counseling from Johns Hopkins University/National Institutes of Health.
