Tamarinda Godín, D.D.S., MPH, is an assistant research scientist for the Department of Epidemiology and Health Promotion at New York University College of Dentistry and the supervising dentist and associate director of CariedAway, a longitudinal, school-based, cluster-randomized, noninferiority trial of nonsurgical interventions for dental caries. Her research centers on increasing oral health equity and psychosocial functioning for high-risk, pediatric, low-income, and racial and ethnic minority populations and people with intellectual and physical disabilities.
