Speaker Bio
Jennifer Kraschnewski, MD, MPH, completed her medical degree at the University of Wisconsin and internal medicine residency at Duke University. She completed a NIH-NRSA Primary Care Research Fellowship and Master of Public Health at the University of North Carolina. She is a clinician-investigator with a focus on behavioral interventions to promote healthy lifestyles in clinical and community settings to address health disparities. She serves as director for Penn State’s National Institutes of Health-funded Clinical and Translational Science Institute and Project ECHO. Kraschnewski is honored to lead the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention-funded REACH Team to work to improve healthy lifestyles in Central Pennsylvania. She has disseminated her research in over 125 peer-reviewed publications.
