Kali S. Thomas, PhD, is the Inaugural Stulman Foundation Professor in Aging at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. Her research focuses on identifying ways to improve the quality of life of older adults needing long-term services and supports (LTSS) through applied health services research. She has led multiple research projects examining the organization, delivery and financing of LTSS to meet older adults' medical and nonmedical needs. Her research spans the LTSS continuum, ranging from in-home services to long-term care provided in institutional settings.
