Kendra Liljenquist, PhD’s research focuses on developing culturally responsive ways to address economic and racial disparities in child development outcomes. She collaborates with families and clinicians to design and test clinic- and community-based interventions that best meet the needs of children in low-resourced communities. Her current research work centers on implementing innovative approaches to enhance developmental screening and referral practices in primary care clinics serving low-income, racial minority and linguistically diverse families. She was the recipient of a K12 research award focused on learning health systems funded by PCORI and the Agency for Healthcare Quality and Research (AHRQ) and is a current recipient of a K01 award funded by AHRQ.
