Pamela E. Thomas is a heart health advocate and volunteer for non-profit organizations, events and grassroots activities that support heart health. She has a passion and purpose to inspire women to engage in living a heart healthy lifestyle through her heart story. After surviving her first life-threatening heart failure diagnosis in 2008, she was motivated to serve as a support network leader for WomenHeart through the Larry King Cardiac Rehabilitation Center, St. Joseph Hospital in Atlanta, where she provided peer-to-peer patient support for women living with heart disease. She presently volunteers for WomenHeart in other capacities. Her message is to become more aware of the seriousness of heart disease. She encourages people to live a heart healthy and wellness lifestyle and to "fall in love with your heart."
